Cause and Effect
Ignoscere divinum est, humanum autem rarissimum
I forgive the faults of ignorance
and I hope my ignorant faults are forgiven.
I forget the mistakes of blindness
and I ask for my blind mistakes to be forgotten.
I let slip of the contempt of deafness and
I beg that my deaf contempt slips away.
May the redemption that I give away return to me,
as the chance to mend what I have broken
and soothe whom I have hurt.
